Boehner: We Need Policies that Create New Jobs, Not Destroy Them

At a press conference today, Congressman John Boehner (R-OH) said, "If we're trying to create jobs in America we shouldn't be promoting policies that are destroying jobs in America." He cited the national energy tax and small business tax as examples of policies that destroy jobs, and noted that Republicans want to work with the President to "stop a lot of this wasteful stimulus spending and take that money and put it into the hands of American families and small businesses that can actually get the economy going again."
