Of the 1.5 million Haitians displaced by the earthquake, it's estimated that fewer than 30,000 have moved into permanent housing. Seth Doane reports from Port-au-Prince.

  • @cky12qxz I am from Haiti. Trust me, there is nothing being done at all as far as clean up. People are taking matters into their hands and building shacks. The Haitian government should not allow people to build without codes. There should be a plan to rebuild the city. Moreover, Haiti should be decentralized. The capital should be rebuilt somewhere else. All it takes is supervision, coordination, accountability and communicantion between the NGOs and the Haitian government.

  • The key here is the 5 billion dollars never made it to Haiti. Only 10% (500 million) is available. In Haiti 500 million is more than enough to AT LEAST clean up the rubbles. There are 8 million people unemployed. It is a crime and a crying shame that people are not put to work to start at least the clean up. The labor is cheap ($5/day), The Haitian government should monitor the actions of the NGOs to ensure that the clean up work is done. Clean up first and then we can talk about rebuilding.

  • The nwo is blocking the funds to Haiti and they are slowing down the recovery.......

Those rapes that are happening in Haiti is being coordinated by the nwo. The might tell a group of people that they will give them money or food to go out and rape a few woman.
