hey Reese you reminded me to get on reading this so I did!
I am usually pretty slow to read history books that focus on giving a timeline of a concept (rather than a narrative of a specific event, which is easier) because it doesn't mesh well with the old ADHD, but I have to say that TH was extraordinarily readable even to a highschool drop-out like me. :D Like so many histories of struggle, I would love to read something similar about Canada.. I wonder if it's out there just as readable.

I'm not on the twitter bandwagon yet, so you'll have to fill me in on who is Jayna and Transponder??
I work in a book store and I came across Trans-Sister Radio by Chris Bohjalian today... Seems interesting.

I actually read that book several years ago as part of a book club type thing in undergrad and I didn't like it. I'm not sure what my slant would be on it now, but I remember being annoyed by the end where the woman felt like sleeping with a man would solidify her female gender identity. Ugh. It's like the Tranny version of Chasing Amy.

There should be a way you can flip the image so it's the right way and not mirrored, then again I don't work on macs so who the heck knows.
However, very good review. I'll have to check it out sometime.
And gosh I feel like I've commented almost all your videos - such is the fun fact of having no life xD
