First, I really appreciate an actual answer, as opposed to the enraged screeching of most right-wingers. That said, have you stopped to consider that a gtreat deal of U.S. social policy has been influenced in some way by socialism? Medicare, Social Security, public works, public education, so on and so forth... all influenced by socialism.

My point is that, if Obama is a socialist, then so is every president since FDR.

Our govt. has been influenced the most by Jack Abramoff and Tom DeLay. They made it into the Lobbyist state that we have now. Opening loopholes for Corporations to outsource away. Meritocracy, right? Nationalism has never been attacked like it has with Supply Side economics. The USA Reagan envisioned turned into a dishonorable den of thieves, skimming off of Wars for Oil and greasing the way for the ruling class to further push the middle class down to economic slavery.
