Cool review, I have the first one on my shelf and I'll read it soon. This reminds me of another book called Battle Royale. It's almost the same story except it's set in Japan, and 42 freshmen are taken to an island and forced to kill each other.

just finished the book today. read it the last couple days. I really enjoyed it. was a great read. Will get the next book in the series for sure when I go to the book store next week. thanks for bringing this book to my attention

It's realy creepy huh? No it's a short story. The book is a collection of short stories but shirly jackson named the collection of short stories after one of the short stories, the lottery.
