Cleo the Standard Poodle Learns to Play Volleyball

Standard Poodles are among the smartest dogs in the world. They are eager to learn. Watch 2-year-old Cleo gain skill as she plays volleyball with the kids. After watching from the sidelines for a while she soon wanted to join in the fun. At first she sent the ball into the net or over the fence, but very soon she set up the ball and hit it over the net to everyone's delight. Cleo has learned many tricks, but this time she just joined in the fun and caught on quickly. The laughter of the kids was all the reward she needed.

We sure love our Cleopatra.

Poodles are athletic, intelligent dogs. If you want a pet who will make you laugh, loves to play on land or water, looks beautiful, and doesn't shed, get yourself a Standard Poodle.

I've always had standard poodles - I usually have 2-3 dogs at a time - I've had Vizlas, golden retrievers etc but ALWAYS a standard poodle - they just don't compare - so smart - just different. I couldn't live without one. Cleo reminds me so much of my first standard poodle when I was about 5...thanks!

I love this video!!! I have Standards and they are truly the smartest, most loyal, most wonderful dog I have ever owned (I have a Dobie and a Rottie as well)

This is so representative of how smart, social and fun they are. I adopted a Chocolate Standard Male at age 3 1/2 and he's the most amazing canine friend I've ever had. Always upbeat, attentive and loves people and children.

I forever will only get Standard Poodles', they are great cattle dogs, and dogs to work horses etc. Also, great dogs to have beside you when you're sleeping, or need a smile.
