GS.C Presents- An Anti-Battling Video

Glowsticking originated from the rave scene, which is based off of "peace, love, unity, and respect." Battling goes against this way, and thus, it is looked down upon.
Everyone present in the vid, (with the exception of casual ravers in the bg) are members of Glowsticking.Com. Majority of quotes also come from those people.

I hope this video will move you to support Glowsticking.Com's position against battling in the scene.

i agree with this video whole heartedly i live in baltimore and the hip hop scene is huge so lots of battles happen and i swear there isn't a night that goes by at a club that a fight doesn't go down cause of a sore loser or a cocky winner, it doesn't take much more than that to ruin the entire event, so why let that happen in our scene,

well my glowsticking friend i personally think that in short if its with your heart and for having fun then theres nothing wrong i just tell ppl that even the best glowstickers were once in the beginning and anyone can learn if they have the patience and selfdetermination to persevere in the art!(its three and a half yrs for me)and am still learning!not about whos better!

Heres a question to my fellow glowstickers: lets say you just arrive at a rave, and there are some glowstickers going at it. Lets politely say that their skills are lacking compared to yours. But you really wanna let loose and glowstick your heart out. If you were to do so, would it be considered battling? I recently went to a rave and a few girls were taking up all the space to glowstick all night and when they would finally stop I would jump in and go at it. They got mad. Whats the etiquette

you obviously dont know your ass from a hole in the ground, jpkolpin. Y dont you do some more drugs, preferably lsd, and then check yourself by questioning your antics. Youre probably just upset that you cant swing a pair of glowsticks a fraction as good as anyone on youtube. Go practice and stop hating. This is what we do and we love it, and nothing you or anyone says can make us feel bad about it.
