Vídeo feito por mim para ilustrar a música You Never Will, da banda inglesa de neoprog IQ, presente no álbum Dark Matter, de 2004.

Letras / Lyrics:

In moods of don't disturb,I'm on edge and then
Afraid, I call for answers again and again
I keep on hoping that you'll do something real
Accept the consequence but you never will

I may have squandered it but what do I know ?
There's one good God above us, bad God below
I keep on hoping you'll remember me still
Admit I wasn't wrong but you never will

And there's no way? in a place of illusion pale as glass
One day one thing is sure - this too shall pass
I'll stay, waiting the longest time
Until you come but you never will

Now as the shadows fall on Allhallows Eve
We spin our tangled web, learn to deceive
I keep on hoping that you'll do something real
Give in to influence but you never will

And there's no way, any time any place we'll meet again
One day with eternal evasion this will end
I'll stay, waiting the longest time
Until you come but you never will

This kind of living death is made in the mind
I find with these restrictions, I'm more deaf than blind
No matter where I look, I'm under attack
Whichever road I took, I always came back

And there's no way, in a place of illusion pale as glass
One day one thing is sure - this too shall pass
I'll stay, waiting the longest time
Until you come but you never will

  • In the early 80s it was a toss up as to who would make the progressive grade, IQ or Marillion...over 25 years later, iQ have still not "sold out" to commercial "prog lite"...Good thing to, there music is still valid and each new offering warrents attention...thankfully, there is plenty of choice now, but in the late 80s and early 90s pickings were slim...Good music, and prog in particular is always welcome in this house...Thanks for the upload!...

  • @af002af001 Who cares if it is prog or not? It sounds incredibly well!

  • excellent montage vidéo! J'adore le concept.

  • Dark Matter is one of my fave albums ever

  • I have not heard them 2 albums yet. I like the darker stuff they are coming out with in the past 10 years....

  • ever and subterrenea are good too

  • The 7th House, Dark Matter, and now Frequency are 3 strong albums by this band. Their early day stuff does'nt sit well with me but, I am sure we would all have mullets, and sound like 1980's new wave meets neo prog rock if we were living in the 1980's,lol..... Great band, fantastic guitarist......
