The Kansas To Cairo Project Part 1 (Second Life Machinima)

Students from Cairo and Los Angeles used the virtual world of Second Life to design a large open space situated between the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza.
And yes: they had never met in the physical world, using merely their avatars to communicate, collaborate and create sustainable urban design solutions while overcoming cultural boundaries.

  • Half the people here are 10 year olds that only want to see a steady flow of identical black ops gameplay videos every five minutes. This is far to complex for them to even begin to understand.

  • this is really interesting, if you think it is boring then leave you imbicile!!

  • @Gielinorian And what the problem at being 8? I'm sure that many Eight Years Old kids could have a much more adult behavior than yours...

And no, I wasn't looking for attention.

Can I only make a question?

Why are bashing at me? Did I said anything wrong?

  • THIS IS NICE =D

  • @pkerch00b1

I'm not saying that communicating by using the internet is a bad idea, but do people have to get a second live, an avatar and design a virtual working room instead of writing E-Mails?

  • I saw Second Life and thought the worst. Just happy there were no furries.

  • Why is this in michinima

  • @Tinymclean but games are fun ='(

  • @MultiMung so what you would be sugesting is that the class in caito or kansas have to fly home and back everyday so that they can performe a school project......Ya real life is a good way to comunicate but there isnt anything wrong with the internet. You made a youtube acount so you could ut video's on youtube or leave a comment or rate a vid this also includes communicating...just saying
