Part 1 of 3 of mixing drums in Logic Tutorial, I go over how to use audio to score to sample a snare drum and mix with the recorded snare, in parts 2 and three we go over plug-ins, levels, panning, and bussing in logic to achieve professional drum sounds.

  • I grew up in a studio, and I've been recording my own band and others since I was like 15. I've done some school for audio, but not at a dedicated recording school.

  • Great tutorial! I presume you use Logic 8 version in this video. Just wanna add that Logic Pro 9 version gives you much easier and shorter way to add samples to your drums. Its called DRUM REPLACEMENT DOUBLING. You will find it by clicking on TRACK in ARRANGE WINDOW.

    Anyway. This is still great tutorial for Logic 8 users.
