Great Post Lucky , I like the Gold Eagle , I have been meaning to get more into gold , just recently made my first purchase last week but not much , just a 14k 4.2 gram diamond ring , thought it would be nice to hold some gold at all times , I would love to trade some of my silver for some gold but right now i am still trying to get a good position before trading , also that's a nice case "home" for your round , I am going to check out that website you mentioned ... :)

Lucky, good for you. There's nothing wrong with diversifying into gold. No one can print more gold or silver out of thin air, unlike dollars. Hedging against risk is good horse sense.
Silver is fluctuating, but that's because people are taking notice of it. At the end of the day, the more $s that the Fed creates, the more $s you get per troy oz, Au or Ag.

How many ounces of silver did it take to receive one ounce of gold? Did you try to get fractional gold eagles?
