On Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, UNC Health Care hosted its annual Martin Luther King, Jr., remembrance ceremony.

Our keynote speaker was U.S. Congressman David Price, 4th District of North Carolina. There were musical selections performed by Promise Idol winner Kathy Collier, vocalist Marline Alexis and principal harpist Winifred Garrett from the Fayetteville Symphony.

During his life's work, Dr. King was committed to caring about people. This is in direct correlation with our mission here at UNC Health Care. Our commitment to caring acknowledges the importance of people as a pillar of our success as an organization.

Please take the opportunity to share this uplifting program.
