Michele Bachmann almost came to my home town in SC. This was before she dropped out after the Iowa Caucus. Mitt Romney has to down play his religion because he is a Mormon.

If our leaders want to be religious, they can do it in their home, not bring it into a political system by the founding fathers to remain separate from established religion. They made it that way because they knew the dangers of them mixing together.

Remember, they were once ruled by England: a nasty government highly fueled by religious beliefs.

@autumnlauber But you need to understand something here. 1. Amerca at one point became the Best Place to live in the world with many Freedoms. Wether you believe in God or not does not take away the fact that Christianity helps not hurts AMericas quality of life. I cant explain in a non-religous way why a Nation that had the highest percentage of Christians in Government did the Best.? I would say just be carefull how far you take the issue. Look at other angles to the issue.

@panda0100 The least of plenty. He is not the only presidential candidate out there. And yes I praise him because he stands up for something and has consistently done so for a very long time. One of them is going to be president, so I don't see anything wrong with voting for the one that I think would do best than the rest.
