First of all: I do not own the rights to this, but I'm also not making any money (unfortunately), so hopefully that's okay. This song is from the musical "The Baker's Wife," by Stephen Schwartz, which I played about two years ago. My two most interesting life lessons from this experience were: a) if the actors accidentally fling bread into the orchestra pit, you must resist the urge to throw it back on stage; and b) the song "Serenade" is an wonderful, wonderful thing. Thus, I decided to arrange it, so that the world could witness its glory. Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I do. Also, I was lucky enough to be the first recipient of the Daniel Pearl Memorial Cello, which is a gorgeous instrument made by Jonathan Cooper (thanks Jon!), which I used to record this...please pardon those times in the song when this epic cello overpowers the capacity of my cute little USB mic. And finally, one last special thanks to Melissa Kraut, for generally being awesome.
Fantastic. This piece and the production were terrific. Clearly Sarah has talent and I am confident we will be seeing and hearing great things from her. I met Sarah at an event last night - her personality shines as much as her musical abilities. I now consider myself one of her biggest fans. Bravisima!

Brilliance does not even come close to defining how immaculate this arrangement is... To take a little-known song from an almost forgotten musical and turn it into a masterpiece is no small task and yet, you made it sound easy in all of it's complexities!
