disowned his son Peter's adopted daughter, Nicole, in 2006 after she participated in the Jamie Johnson documentary, The One Percent "I have not emotionally or legally adopted you as a grandchild, nor have the rest of my family adopted you as a niece or a cousin." He signed the letter "Warren."
-
She was adopted by her fathers ex-wife. She has no legal ties to Buffet and is not considered a part of the family. She is lucky Buffet payed for her education.
-
I lost respect for that man after the nasty letter he wrote her.

Wow Tori Spelling's father at least gave her $800,000 when he passed. And she has worked everyday since to make it to where she is today - I think it's a good idea that they don't pass on ALL their wealth to the kids - let them work for it a little.
-
To be the second richest man in the world doesn't mean shit. Show me how kind the man is to his family
-
Only poor people still didn`t get it.

@MikeAppleTree wow so true!

@Flashwar which incident?Funny. What did she do?She shared her feelings and I am sure that on her place everybody would feel the same!
This is old experience man who felt offended by that girl?!
It shows how wise he is.Yes, he is smart, intelligent but is he wise?
He could say ,,listen girl you need to work for your money like I did.But he said she is not a part of his family"Person who is happy in life would never EVER say such words!!And here we have the truth. Is he happy with that money?I doubt
-
@Flashwar If I would be on her place I would return to him ALL THAT MONEY HE PAID FOR HER EDUCATION!!! I could not live knowing that he sponsored my studies.Maybe in his opinion she should feel rewarded by this.It is patronising.Give him his money back NICOLE. Have your self-respect and dignity !!!
I do not care if he is billionaire or whatever!!!I would throw all the money on his face.
Only the person who does not have any feeling can say that.
As Jack Donaghy said:
"The first generation works their fingers to the bone. Second generation goes to college and innovates new ideas. The third generation goes snowboarding and takes improv classes."
