@Cobra334 Well you must fall into the category of uneducated idiots then. Martin O'Neill isn't English. Don't let an Eredivisie title conceal his mediocre aptitude. He isn't a successful manager. Relative to other managers that failed he is.
He doesn't beat Redknapp by "miles" either. I don't see your reasoning for this. Are you concluding that he is a better manager than the two stated?
He should have qualified for EURO 08. No excuse. So don't say it couldn't work.

Why do the uneducated idiots of the football world always go on about England??? Bugger me - Sir Alex could not have made that job work at that time.
Wether you like it or not Steve MaClaren IS the most successful English manager of modern times beating Arry RedKnapp by miles and Martin O'Neill very narrowly.

Nob 'ed

McClaren asked the English fans to judge him on results. If I was him I'd have asked people to judge on 'punctuality' or his driving ability, or water skiing, or something not related to an English teams performance on a football field.

@Lpoolboy "Who says 'A clean sheet, I call it'". err. Maybe someone in a foreign country who's people don't understand the phrase.

hey steve, PLEASE come back :D

Don't think he should be slated for this. Look at Owen Hargreaves, all though he was in Germany longer than McClaren was in Holland, he sounded like a German man and when I was younger I thought he was German. So the little twang McClaren has is perfectly normal

Cringe :/

@MissDelicieuse The point is, he's trying to do a Dutch accent as his normal voice is nothing like this.
@molly0000000s A slight change in accent is fine. When he takes on completely different mannerisms in an attempt at broken english, then it becomes weird. Who says 'A clean sheet, I call it' and stuff like that if you're a native english speaker? Nobody! Nobody does that. It's weird.
