In this video, I talk about where to keep your lists. If you are a paper list person, you'll want to keep your lists in separate folders for each category.
Personally, I think a black belt gtd'er keeps their lists electronically. This helps with backups if you lose your lists, makes your lists easier to read and still allows you to print out your lists.
You'll be tempted to tweak your list keeping setup with tools like Outlook, Basecamp and other list software tools available. Try not to change tools to soon. Instead opt to keep a GTD tool for a good 30 days before changing.
Getting things done with the proper list manager is a key to your success.
