Altitude Chamber in Pensacola - 1993.mpg

This altitude chamber at NAS Pensacola took us "up" to 25,000 feet. Very painful for me. Especially for my left ear. My fingers turned blue and I couldn't wait to get out of there. The air bubbles in our skin and other orifices expanded like crazy so the chamber stunk to high heaven. Our skin would tingle as the gas stuck in our pours would burst out of us due to the expansion. I was glad it was a one shot deal and not something we had to do a bunch of times. The freaked us out during the brief telling us that some guys would bonkers in the chambers. Didn't happen during my session though. That is depicted in the movie "Officer and a Gentlemen" though.
