  • The spools of material have a sensor in them that records the amount of material that has gone through them, and once the allotted 30 cubic inches has been used it renders the spool 'used'. However, if the spool/sensor has been unloaded with say 10% still unused material, the spool can be reloaded again, allowing to use up the 10%. Also, spools typically have an extra 30ft of unused material in them in order to load and unload (3 ft is discarded at unload) so that you'll not be concerned-Mario

  • Thanks....I've been trying to find documentation on whether or not you can unload and resuse plastic cartriges or not forever.
