Im taking a treatment called Hemo dialysis..its been 6 months now in November 26 2011...its so hard but you have to use to it...Im taking hemo dialysis 2 times a week every wednesday and Saturday...And its hard to dialysis here in Philippines because you have to own moneys to take a session which we don't have coz' we are one of the Filipino's poor people

  • @XxGreenieTheGeekxX dont worry im 15. about to be 16 in 3 months. and i was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease in january 2011. i am now on peritoneal dialysis. and it is not that bad once you get use to it. hopefully me and you will get a kidney transplant soon. and one more thing. dont hold in you emotions. if you need to cry. just let it out. i held my emotions for almost a year. and for 3 weeks i would cry non stop every night when i had to do dialysis.

  • I'm a 15 year old sophmore, who already has a hugely long list of medical problems, including depression and athsma. I just got diagnosed with kidney disease. I'm so scared.

  • I have stage 5 CKD.. trying alternative forms of treatment such as REIKI and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).. Initial tests show promising results.. my blood creatinine level is down from 6.0 to 5.1 in just 2 months....

  • I"m currently at stage 3. I had a kidney transplant at 7 which has lasted for 20 years. Its kind of weird having a disease that can't be cured. The hard part is having to explain it to people. It can be difficult at times.

I do have an optimistic look at this. The way I see it " I didn't choose this, it chose me."
