how did you learn to play the song or how do you, do you just look up tabs and chords or what is it that you do?

I do not use tabs. I like to learn by ear. If I REALLY struggle, then I just re-listen to the song over and over and over again. As long as you're not tone deaf, you are able to learn by ear. I've been playing piano since I was 5 and I think that has helped me to learn and understand notes better.
