I'm Scottish so I'm not supposed to like the English but people from the north-east are quality. This bigot on the phone is not typical of them at all.

Being Scottish doesn't mean you're not supposed to like or hate anyone. What happened hundreds of years ago holds no relevance anymore. It's just like the idiotic white people 'apologising' to the blacks for slavery. Ridiculous.
He's old, so no surprises there.
I'd say northerners are funnier, and Scotland is a lovely place, but would much rather live in the south :)
