With the project direction to reflect a darker more gritty POTC 4 Stranger Tides feel to the mermaid image. Director asked for a disconnected vibe from the camera to the mermaids and mermen to capture the separation between humans and the mythical mermaids we know little about. Glimpses are to be shot as mermaids swim by living and going about their underwater daily lives swimming and doing things as they naturally would do without interruption.
