its pretty difficult for young people to see value in a system that has continuously failed them. we worked hard, played by the rules, got university degrees, but the life we were promised doesn't exist. we're not stupid enough to not notice that right wing/conservative/tea party/even centrist government policy keeps poor people poor. banks get bailouts when they tank the economy. individuals get next to nothing when they fall on hard times as a result. thats injustice, any way you look at it.

They don't "owe us a living," we owe ourselves a living. Anarchism isn't about stealing wealth to use for ourselves, that's socialism. Anarchism is about individual liberty and the ability to achieve our own potential without government interference.

That's interesting, because... I wasn't promised any kind of life, yet I came out of poverty to work towards the life I have now... and it's a fairly good one. I think it's pretty difficult for young people to see success in a system they haven't succeeded in because they're still young and haven't had time to succeed. As an anarchist, I'm an advocate of "value in self" over "value in a system." That's what anarchism is about... doing what's best for YOU and not what others expect.
