  • But terrorists do want to kill innocent people, and they do. Where is your response when that happens? Why is it that when Israel defends herself from daily rocket attacks for 8 years that Israel cannot defend herself? Why is it that when Hamas militants use their own people as human shields that you do not cry out at that?

  • You people are under the assumption that I have an agenda Watch my video again I challenge you to point out one example of where I specifically attack Israel in my post Or better yet try and find one example of where I blame one group or another for the deaths of these children Truth is I don't know who is responsible because the media isn't allowed in to report on it. You and people like you are the ones who are blindly pointing the finger Not me These videos are raw footage not documentaries

  • have you ever seen footage of blown up buses or restaurants in Israel? have you ever met parents of victims who have been shot dead in their own yeshiva just for being Jewish? Have you ever met survivors of suicide bombings? Because I have, and I have a feeling that I know more about what it means to be targeted. Israel does not want to kill civilians. As you said, this is unfortunately a part of war.

  • Yes, yes, and yes. My stepfather was Jewish and his mother had a tattooed number on her arm from when she was a little girl in a nazi concentration camp. So I can say that on an intimate level I have known people who were victims because of their beliefs. That does not change the fact that what is going on in gaza is wrong on a number of levels. The biggest of which is the use of white phosphorous on the civilian population. It's no different than the gassing of jews in those camps.

  • then it sounds to me like Hamas is acting more like nazis. they are the ones specifically targetting only civlians.

  • You questioned whether or not I know anyone who has been victimized because of their beliefs. You didn't specify a time period. From what I can gather, both sides are exploiting and using civilians. I think this entire war is based on a deep-seeded hatred that stems from neither side recognizing the others right to exist. And if what you say is true, Hamas fired those rockets, not the civilians. So the mass incineration of the population can't be justified based on the actions of a few.

whatever, i'm not asking you to believe me and i'm sure you don't expect me to believe you either. So lets call it a truce, shall we?

  • @yms728

i completely disagree, Israel continues to deny any wrong doing and only prosecuting soldier that have bee caught doing shameful things, most investigations usually lead nowhere, there are former IDF solders who even admit that what Israel is doing to the Palestinian constitutes ethnic cleansing. As for Hamas, do some fact checking about them.

  • @helix4811 Israel continuously admits her flaws. Israel constantly investigates her own military. As for Hamas wanting peace? once again, look at their statements put out to their own people. it tells a different story.

as a final note, personally, it is hard for me to find favor with those who celebrated 9/11 in their streets. peace can come when the Palestinians value life more than they value death. to get a better sense of the situation, watch palestinian media.. it will change your mind

  • @helix4811

    (conti...)

sorry i meant, for Israel to say it didn't to anything wrong, not reject

  • @yms728

    (conti....)

As for Goldstones retraction, isn't it also possible he was pressured by Israeli groups like AIPAC, which had been on a smear campaign in order to discredit him, to take back his words and official statement?

The level of blame you are placing on Palestinians is unfair, BOTH sides need to answer for their crimes, yet neither side is taking any blame, you would expect Hamas too not take any blame, but for Israel to reject it didn't do anything wrong? that is shameful.

  • @yms728

fact? i didn't see any fact, all i saw was speculation. the PA has renounced violence and want peace, which is why the PA forces work along side the IDF, as for Hamas, it just announced a cease fire, and is on the record as saying, Hamas will accept any agreement reached by both the PA and the IDF. Isn't it possible that Israel is the one in the wrong? especially since it is militarily superior and illegally continues to build settlements in Palestinian land?

  • @yms728

    (conti...)

now you could claim that Israel is constantly under threat from its neighbors, but the fact is Israel military is superior, and i doubt any of Israels neighbors can harm Israel. On top of that, you have the US giving $4 billion dollars in official aid, and billions more in unofficial aid to Israel (which btw, Israel doesn't need.) and you got yourself a regional super power, and one that can only gain from attacking her neighbors (i.e golan heights, Shebaa farms, etc...).

  • @yms728

(conti....) and before you mention the Goldstone report, Goldstone was obviously pressured by Israeli lobbists to take back his words, and even if they didn't,that still doesn't mean his report is illegitimate. You expect the bad treatment of civilians to come for Hamas, not a supposed democracy like Israel. If Israel wants to show herself as a force of good, she needs to get her act straight and stop being hostile towards her neighbors, while at the same time, pretending to be the victim

  • @yms728

(conti...) as for doctors, lawyers and gay Arabs, i'll give you the fact gay arabs have more rights in Israel. Their are things that Arab nations can learn from Israel, but Israel MUST recognize Palestinian rights, which it continually disregards. It seems as if Palestinian blood is worthless against Israeli blood. People say that Israel is wrongfully being victimized, well i say to them, if Israel hasn't done anything wrong, why are they afraid of International investigations?

  • @helix4811 so merely stating fact looks bad on me? anyway, Israel 100% wants peace, but it is impossible to make peace with a people who want to destroy Israel altogether... the problem here is that the PA and Hamas do not want peace... at all. (dont take my word for it, look at their statements to the Palestinian people, not to western media or the Israeli government).and especially after the Goldstone report retraction, take everything with a (giant) grain of salt.
