  • Moe Norman was autistic as well as a savant; his quirky behavior was in part a result of these disabilities. What most folks do not know is that along with the quirky behavior caused by these so called learning disabilities come incredible abilities. The ability of imagination, focus, concentration, feel, insight, and often athletic ability are just some of those abilities. Moe Norman was blessed with many incredible abilities and in his words and actions are lessons for us all

  • I agree with your observations. I only wish I could've watched him hit a ball in person. There is much to learn from Moe. It seems like you understood how to learn from him. Thanks for the insight to the legend "Moe Norman".

  • I know quite a bit about golf. But in the last 2 years I have learned more about the swing from watching Moe than the 45 years I have been playing. I was a pretty good golfer before but now I understand much more about which moves make my swing much, much more consistent. Watch Moe and you will learn why he does what he does!!

  • Nobody watching him!!! In a live tournament!!?? In person?? No one else around and Lorne Rubenstein is the only guy who took the time to see him?? That makes zero sense. What an oppourtunity to follow Norman when no one else is around...gee...

  • Nice commentary, very accurate...

Love to hear the original audio as well if you have it! :-)

    Keep postin'!

  • nice vid

great comments, so many greats are, well, eccentric, for all sorts of reasons. you want to get out past average to exceptional? well, you have to be a bit of an outlier...

but to be honest, I think I would want to hear just what it is that moe was talking about. do you have the audio to the clip?

    Moe was the man!!!

  • @wholebrainplanet Yes.."The soundest golf swing around"...how true. We were lucky to have him.

  • Thanks for posting. Things that people can't understand they just want to ignore. If people would only research his life's story they would trace back to the major head trauma that he experienced at age 6 where he was run over by a car while sledding. If you get this type of brain damage often times it creates a savant like personality. Without a doubt Moe operated from his right hemisphere. That is where most geniuses like to be. Hammer
