Emile wants to capture the essence of humanity in a painting. His muse might just grant him his wish. Read "Bitter and Intoxicating" by Sharon Bidwell in "Red Velvet and Absinthe" anthology edited by Mitzi Szereto, foreword by Kelley Armstrong, and published by Cleis Press.

@gypsyglobal LOL. Yes. I did a bit of an OMG when I heard Kelley was doing the foreword. Almost as much of a happy dance as when Mitzi took the story.

Thanks for sharing, Shaz! Very intriguing. Great music, too. Really gives a feel for your gothic inspired story. Love you have Kelley Armstrong's foreward! Happy sales! Thanks for playing along with the Monday "Movie" Book trailer swap over at alternative-read :)

@OhSassyOne Thanks. I wondered if I'd find something to go with that bit of music and this was perfect. Was so pleased Kelley was doing the foreword, but equally pleased Mitzi took the story. I had heard she was hard to please (but don't tell her that. LOL). I'll keep the trailer swop in mind. It was fun.

@WriterMitzi Good! Because the software was having a bad day and decided to give me one as well. I think this fits the mood of the story very well, and I'm very pleased with it.
