Hi guys, appreciate you checking out my blends. This one in particular is one of my early works (starting from way back in spring 2007), and I have a couple of things that I want to say regarding a few matters that I often see people talk about:

1. These are NOT official blends. The producers' names are mentioned to make sure that I absolutely do not get any credit for the beat itself. The producers DID NOT do the blending jobs; I did. So if you don't like the blend, don't go off thinking that a producer did a poor job; I did. I admire these producers and beat makers (I intend and hope to be one one day), and it hurts me to see when people blame these producers for a bad blending job.

2. In the manner of speaking, my intent of making these blends is not to outdo the original producers. Sure, some beats may just happen to suit the lyrics and melody even better than the originals, some may not. However, my original intent of making these (besides the obvious "because I enjoy doing it") is to simply 1. show the possibility of different perspectives of interpreting a song and to 2. introduce beats and producers that I feel are worthy of more public acquaintances.

3. Despite the large number people who give me encouragements, I also get a lot of negative comments. I agree to some of them, I do not agree to some of them. However, please do not judge "InntimateSound" based solely on listening to one of my early works like this one alone. I am an avid learner, and I have been improving and evolving as a blender all along the road where I made 50+ blends for over two years. Sometimes even I get embarrassed when I listen to some of my early works, and maybe two years later I will be embarrassed at what I think is good today. However, I am not ashamed of the fact that I had weak spots in my past because 1. who doesnt? and 2. they are part of me as a growing musician. Furthermore I am proud and happy to be sharing this process of growth with listeners like you and even get some encouragements and appreciations along the way. Whatever the field, growth is where I place my values and I will continue to pursue it.

4. I want to thank you for caring enough to even leave comments on my page whether positive or negative. For more blends, please visit my channel: www.youtube.com/inntimatesound. Thank you!

  • JAY DEE: REST IN BEATS !!!!!!! THE BEST WHOS EVER DONE IT.

  • how the fuck does the rap not match the beat? this beat is fucking perfect for this rap. it should have been the original. its getting listened too more

  • Why would you mix these two songs lol. They are both perfect how they are

  • I tried to go to another video while the song was still going and I couldn't.

  • @erika1582 i see it's been 7 months but if you haven't been enlightened yet the beat is from a song called "the red" by "jaylib" from the album "champion sound." def an album worth having.

  • Hmm the rap doesnt really fit the beat imo :) I like the original version more but nice if you wanna be a musician ! :D maybe we will have an upcoming producer as J Dilla or Madlib :) can't wait for you to grow bro ;) I think its gonna be dope

  • the red

  • red- jaylib

  • i do this now too please check them ! the thing is you have to ensure the rhyming fits perfectly the beat and sometimes you have to shft some phrases one by one individually like for example here i think you had talib come in a little bit too soon on the beat... you can tell thats not how he would have done it IMo
