  • @brett35540 how old are you? I think i'm getting a 150.

  • 150 and 450 are fucking fast :) i have both

  • they look stupid compared to the old ones

  • I put a deposit on the 150 yesterday and im picking it up next weekend. Im so fucking exited!

  • @liver72 sure there's a reason that racers are choosing 4 stroke. They changed the rules! Of course a 250 2 stroke is not the same as your 525. But that's apples and oranges. Compare bikes of the same capacity, say a 250 exc and exc-f. The 2 stroke will eat the fourstroke, for 80% of the price and a third of the maintanence time and cost. Or compare bikes of the same weight. Like a 300 exc and a 250 exc-f. The 300 has more torque, more power, less weight and much cheaper.

  • no question 4 strokes are coming out ahead now. there has to be a reason more racers are switching over. it takes more cc's for the 4 stroke, but a 250 2 stroke is not the same as my 525 at all. a friend's son races a mod 250 4 stroke, and it would take a pretty modded 2 stroke 250 to touch it. they are the engine of the future, and pretty much the present. im not sure what world you live on, but a good 4 stroke isnt much heavier than a 2 stroke. maybe 10 pounds diff, with elec start.

  • if you think a 4 stroke will fly past a 2 stroke any day just watch (I eat 4 strokes) and you will see for your self how fast thoughs heavy 4 strokes are.

  • mramazing31 no way that "4" strokes beat 2 strokes now days a 2 stroke will go flying past a 4 stroke any day. go for 2 stroke first then when you get hell fast move to a 4 stroke for the controlable power.

  • @SMCkrew i would suggest a rm or yz they are both really good bikes

  • @SMCkrew yamaha!
