He didnt WANT to get the shit kicked out of him. that was defiantly not the plan. He wanted a submission and just wore chael out. Yes he took a beating but if you look at him after the fight he's not nearly as fucked up as sonnen is. He just waited until it was time to get him... when he would be to tired to fight a good sub attempt. and anderson is just THAT FUCKING GOOD!!! lol The entire fight Anderson was never in danger of being finished but either a sub or by ko so he's a beast!

Anderson will poop on chael in a re match. If you notice every round anderson's corner is just saying "stick to the plan.... Stick to the plan." He wanted to submit sonnen for talking shit about nog's bjj. He simply waited for the correct time. Notice how he submitted sonnen with his first and only real submission attempt?
