What's wrong with Todd Friel? HINT: Snarky cessationist.

Todd Friel has WretchedRadio and WretchedTV - and I appreciate him naming them what they are right up front. He used to be the face and voice of The Way of the Master - which we've talked about before. I'm not using this clip because he's a great big icon - but because this is a good example of the typical attitude that the Cessationist position builds, even while THEY say that all the charismatics are prideful and snarky. He mishandled scripture and has a chip on his shoulder about charismatics - while ignoring blatant, glaring problems with "the church" that aren't as fun for his base to hear. Please don't be like this.

That's not even what Todd Friel was saying to Christians. He said that the Bible was the way that God speaks, which is a common belief amongst many of them. You are twisting the words to find a problem with it.

@antichyrst123 Yes, it IS a common belief among many of them that God only speaks thru the Bible.  That is what Todd believes, too, And it is dead wrong. I didn't twist anything.

An atheist who tries to live like Jesus, though he does not believe in Jesus, will enter the kingdom of heaven before you! If there is a kingdom of heaven, that is. The Bible's moral message is no different than the reason that Luke Skywalker did not kill Darth Vader. It is simple and understandable to all, and there are no esoteric revelations of red dragons or any other special ministry necessary to do it for you.

@fotm1 "Works do not save you" Show me your dead faith without your works. The works themselves are irrelevant, however, faith without works is DEAD. Real faith PRODUCES WORKS. And I don't need to even believe in a god to know that I can have faith in doing the right thing.

Christ teaches about himself today. If you want him to teach you,,he will. Just ask him and don't give up,, .Ask for the holy spirit ,,people dont understand that the teacher is right in front of them and is ready and willing to teach about himself. We dont need anyone else to learn about him. Of course we should refer to the bible to know for sure its Christ. The devil is sneaky so make sure you are being led by the spirit of Christ not anything else.
