When I was 9 years old I met candidate Kennedy in Bensenville, IL. He gave me a handshake and asked me who I was going to vote for. I said, "You, sir!" and he laughed and granted my request for an autograph. The next school day some kid beat me up and stole the autograph. But I still have the memory of having met perhaps one of the greatest presidents in the history of this nation. In my mind there are five, and Kennedy is in that group.
