FEMA sucks balls it hasn't helped FEMA's attempt to rebuild New Orleans sucked. After 2 1/2 years, 6 of their 314 Public assistance projects actually were complete. Wal-Mart on the other hand, got 110/126 stores up and running in 10 days (ABC News Oct. 15, 2008) The temporary taxes they put in place to pay for assistance NEVER go away, the Alcohol tax was for a flood that happened in 1936 that was supposed to be temporary. I don't know why I even bother arguing, you'll still suck the Gov's dick.

I bet that when the first responders were saving people from hurricane Sandy, people were glad to have the help from those government workers.

The law enforcement agencies who performed so brilliantly after the Boston Marathon bombing were "from the government". Reagan's little applause line was a contemptible slander. And he didn't even believe it himself! When he got enamored of the possibilities for a "Star Wars" missile defense, how did he attempt to make it happen?  Yup--a huge top-down government project called SDI.

True, true. When people put so much trust into something that they blindingly obey it, kill for it, and consider it an absolute truth... well I don't think I've ever seen something like that appear and not perceive it as a net negative.
