Ohel Shalom Torah Center, the newest Sephardic Synagogue in Chicago, celebrates a Hachnasat Sefer Torah and the dedication of their building in the West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Attending the dedication is the Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rav Shlomo Moshe Amar, shlita, who shares words of Torah and blessing at the dedication. Also speaking is Rabbi Daniel Raccah, the Rav of Ohel Shalom, and Avrum Weinfeld gives the introductions. See this historical event along with words to our audience from Rav Amar, and an interview with Rabbi Michael Azose, senior Sephardic Rabbi in the Chicago area, on this October 2010 episode of "TAPED WITH... This is awsome! I was there and it was truly an historical event. Rabbi Doug, how did you ever get the Chief Rabbi to do a bit for you on TV? Kol Hakavod!
