this video title should be changed to "Harmonaz Beasting"

I always heard it as "Ha-do-ken" when I played Street Fighter 2. It made sense to me that the stress put on the syllable would make it sound that way.
Maybe it's the crappy audio that does it to some people... I mean, the audio for the hurricane kick is completely unintelligible in those games. You can't really hold them responsible for the technological limitations of the time.

They say that cuz the sf series has been mispronouncing hadouken for well over 10 years. Go play sf2-af alpha 3. "Ha DOO-ken". It wasn't until sf3 that Capcom recorded that shit correctly. It's not the gamer's fault in that case, since the company themselves mislead those who had no knowledge of japanese. And not many americans got into the sf3 series until 3rd strike. I don't know why. I was into all three, since W Impact came out in Japan for dreamcast.

Lots of Americans say "ha-do-ken" or "high-do-ken" instead of "ha-doh-ken."

What's the big deal about pronouncing words? It's all about 3's....focus on the match and not the commentary.
Sure they say it wrong......it's kinda hard with their accent o.O

Isn't Tougeki supposed to be said TOH geki? Why is this guy saying TOO geki? Must Europeans always mispronounce words with soft vowels?
-

NO U
At least the crowd is enjoying the fucking matches instead of trying to critique every single mistake like here in the US.

After you see RX (from Japan) play Urien, everyone else looks like a scrub.
