  • attempted this last night without reading any recipes...my big mistake was not buying FIRM silken tofu...let's just say the tofu didnt make it to the frying stage since I pretty much destroyed the tofu when trying to get it out of the packet...great video, I'm ready to attempt this recipe again

  • Silken tofu always falls apart for me! Only Gotama knows how our tomodachi here stops it from falling apart?

    I make a vegan dashi stock using kombu and dries shiitake - oi shii! 

  • @AmeKiyaru aburaage i generally use soft tofu... and yes it is quite a hard dish to make... but its delicious :D

    Hey :D - you seem to know a bit about tofu. If I want to make Aburaage, which kind of tofu do I use? Until now my attempts failed >__<

  • medium tofu... and i find potato starch gives it a better taste and texture ^_^... but thats just me
