Africa has been robbed naked, enslaved, its people killed both physically and mentally by the imperialist europeans. they had their own agenda when they came to africa. They brought religion to us as well as the gun and they took our land and its resources in return, they took our finest men and women in slavery. There is no hope for Africa. we are doomed. The reason why i say we are doomed is that we still havent recognised the extent to which they have robbed us and continue to do

@tamale26 hey, u guys are not the only ones man, tibetan people millions of them got killed by chinese military, took our land and resources, there are 100 or more times chinese ratio to 1 tibetan population

they destroyed our monastries, atleast u guys are not still robbed, even now, military patrol monastries, religion and freedom is banned in tibet which is part of china now, it was invaded in 1949

but we still are practicing non violence as His holliness Dalai Lama says :) peace all

Why is everyone going on about politics and cultural crap that is not relevant to the doco at all? Yes there are bad living standards, poverty etc but theres no need to bring it up alongside such a fantastic doco. Seriously...STFU. On topic, i really love the music used in this fabulous series, especially the "mountains" theme that comes in at 4:05 and 8:42.

oh well i have learned that if i watch anything about africa not to read the comments they usually ruin the whole show even if it's positive.
