  • I completely and totally blame ignorant radio programmers for preventing this song become the Pop and R&B smash hit deserved to be! Unfortunately, in the times before there was global social networking websites, the power of the fans to push a song and or album to the top was more limited in the 1990s.

  • @suavehinrg

The constantly revolving door of Motown CEOs didn't help, either.

  • God, y'all have no idea how BADLY i wanted this song to beomce a HIT back in 1999. I let EVERYONE i knew hear it. lol I still think it could've been pushed and made a comeback.

  • Agreed. She was going through a lot of personal turmoil back then and this album just didn't get the push it deserved, though this song became a #9 UK chart hit and "UWMA" hit #2 on the US Dance charts. I still don't understand why they didn't release the album's title track as a single. It's a really great song.

  • Hell yes this is diana ross im talkin about! This sounds like it could be on the foxy brown soundtrack to the movie! This should have beem a hit!

  • @suavehinrg I completely agree. I found this song demo on the side of the road and so I listened to it and was like this one of the best songs ive heard

  • This song was released with a full video and father tempo in Europe and it became a hit. I don't know why it wasn't given the same attention here, probably due to the plethora of dopamine challenged flakes running Motown at the time. This album was also produced much better than her 2007 release.

  • Love this song so much

  • so very smooth.

  • so cool... It includes quality....

  • Beautiful song and so mellow.
