hi i have this model of gateway

i was wondering if u could help me

i have windows vista with no repair disk

and whenever my computer boots up, there is an underscore blinking at the top left corner of the screen

You MB video help fix the problem, for some reason the plastic cover was very hard to remove, it mentioned tabs that had to be displaced with a hotel key card or something. I didn't have anything thin enough so I just took a knife and forced- shoved it into the rear, then the sides, and eventually it freed from the tabs then just lifted it out.

Thanks for showing me the video so I know what to expect the rest of the way.
