Sam Smith, a 22 year old officer died while responding to a domestic disturbance call when he lost control of his vehicle was buried today. Every county in Kansas was represented in Ottawa Kansas. This is his funeral procession down Main St.

I went to school with sam. We were in numerous classes together and im glad to say he was my friend. He died doing what he loved and that was protecting and serving our community in a way this asshole filming would never have the guts to do. This was a very sad day for many. To the jerk filming maybe u should watch this and listen to yourself. There was no need for your rude remarks. Rest in peace sam. You are missed everyday but never forgotten.

i do have to say that for any fallenveteran or active military, including officers i will escort their funeral my dad and i are part of the Kansas Patriot Guard and we are honored to be able to do that. we escorted this funeral and to the guy shooting the "movie" no the person that got stabbed will not get an escort like this it is only for someone that has served your country! its bs to talk crap on someone that has put their life on line to protect you and your family no matter how they died!
