no joke. i agree. eddie hazel played with so much more emotion than hendrix; and i was around to hear them both.

eddie was "the heir apparent" to jimi when he was 19 yrs old. a compliment and a burden.

jimi and eddie both died playing with the same band, and died the same way. believe it or not.

who was better? i am biased to eddie, but really it's just a matter of what style you like.

This is one of the best versions of Maggot Brain I have ever heard....and I've been hearing Maggot Brain since 1970.
