Ghost Town: Bannack Montana

Recently I went on an adventure from my home town of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to the ghost town of Bannack Montana. Bannack was the first Capital of the Territory Montana back in the late 1800's. It was abandoned in the 1940's and has since been in "arrested decay". It is now protected by the Montana State Park.

Visited Bannack in the mid 1960's and the log jail was still standing. Bars were still in windows. Is it still standing? Went inside the Hotel Bannack, and walked up and down a couple of the streets. Collected a few nails and such off the ground. Interesting childhood experience.

@7845lptape Ya the jail is still there. The town is in great shape, they've done a great job taking care of it. Must have been quite the experience to roam during the 60's. Thanks for watching.
