  • Nice video. Thanks for posting!

Going after my JD-800. Did the contact cleaner fix your jumpy sliders?

  • I used contact cleaner and compressed air and it helped a lot.

  • good job

  • Excellent, EXCELLENT video and very informative—and you're a brave man than I! I have one of these machines and luckily, is in pretty good working order (fingers crossed). You mention this self-diagnostic feature in the synth and was wondering how you access that? Thanks again!

  • Great Vid!

I have a dead key on my 2 year old Fantom X. I'll be opening her up tomorrow to find what the issue is.

The pitch bend is also a little wobbley (in sound, not physically) . And for some strange reason I'm no longer getting any aftertouch response from any of the keys. Any thoughts?

  • this is why i use KORG

  • I'm still working on my jd800. It has suffered the "Red Epoxy of Death" where the red goo oozes everywhere... should be fun.

  • SUPER helpful video, didnt have any issues with the keybed but i had an issue with jumping fader values and dead cursors. just ran to frys and got some contact cleaner!

  • Now, why would you want to SPAM every JD800 video with links to your own JD800 pages? Stop the childish advertising........

  • I have my own music made with the classic JD-800. Cut and paste these titles into the Youtube bar and kindly watch and rate:

CHIPTUNE: COMMODORE 64, HAMMOND B4, ROLAND JD-800; "COOTY"

    COMMODORE 64 AND ROLAND JD-800 - "VOLVA"

    Thanks.

  • I had a similar problem with my Korg Triton LE. There is a spring attacted the to end of the key inside. Make sure it is still connected, or just wiggle it around and make sure its doing what its suppose to do.
