He was probably yelling to "hit the brakes" in anticipation of the downhill grade at the start of the video. The first time or two I operated down that grade it did catch me a lil by surprise. That was a nice track at SouthEastern Ry Museum, they however moved, thus making NGLS pull up their rails in '99. :(
I remember when my parent took me there when I was a little kid, and the riding train was just being built. Thanks for the video, it sure brings back some great memories I had of that place. Where did the riding train go?
That's some neat video. Was there something wrong with the brakes or was he simply not used to them? Oh and that is some interesting looking full size equipment in the back round shots, that is one nice looking full size pacific., Oh and I liked that live steam loco having a little trouble shoving that train. Thanks for posting this video.
Wow, I remember that old museum, but I never got to see any of the live steam beside the track...
