Peterson Portable Sawmills utilise one blade which 'swings' horizontally and vertically within 90º.

Peterson's single thin kerf blade pivots from the horizontal position to the vertical position with ease, each cut intersecting at a precise point resulting in perfect boards everytime!

With only one blade to maintain (blades have from 6-10 teeth), running costs are minimum. The blade can be sharpened on the mill in under five minutes with a sharpboy and diamond wheel which are provided when you purchase a mill. Teeth can be replaced if needed, and we know of Peterson mill owners who have been using the same blade for over 10 years!

Peterson's range of quality sawmills can cut hardwood, they've been tested on some of the hardest wood on the planet.

Peterson Portable Sawmills have designed THE mill, so you can design your future, so check out our website and contact us today for more information.

  • That is just outstanding! For a smaller Head Saw outfit, seems that there is minimal waste and there would not be much extra equipment needed other than a small grapple or fork loader!

  • about how much does one of these cost?
