I've always enjoyed the Socrates quote before he drank the hemlock. "I do not know whether or not the gods exist. But I am as sure as I can be that YOU do not know either."
H.P. Lovecraft has a good essay on God and religion. You might enjoy it.

One of the buddhas students asks him "Are you a god?"the buddha replies "NO"."Are you a saint?"the buddha replies "NO" ."Then what are you then?" I AM AWAKE!

Maybe contiensness is ineaveatable as is caos and death. This must form as an universall brain wich such capasaty it sees all other beings at the same time. The only thing it wold want is our inspiration memories and dreams.

but the very same question keeps me from being atheist. True confusion it only keeps me wondering. Sometimes it seems as if there is absolutely no god. literally. but sometimes you wonder to yourself.

Yea I aswell. I enjoy more the philosphy and guide to live life part of religions and beleifs. Hope, peace, the giving of strength to ones self to succeed through negative situations and to live a life overall in peace and to be content. Doing general acts of good and the apprecation of our world and people. of course this could all just be a mindstate, The question if the gods and all the supernatural is actually real pulsates in my mind and keeps me from becoming religious.

I didn't know god could speak
What happens with athiests is sometimes they seem to be pissed off at Religion. Of course since they do not beleive in it at all it makes sense they may find it stupid. Im agnostic and overall very neutral and open minded. so many religions beleifs, and of course the question if any of it is even true, can leave anyone confused

When atheists come off as angry and condescending to theists, they make it even harder for their views to be considered.
I'm essentially agnostic. I like bits and pieces of religons, more as myths and metaphors. The Hindu pantheon of gods is fascinating. And I like Taoism and Zen. I Ching, Buddha, which are more philosophies than religions. Gnosticim has some interesting elements.
And I did a video on Kabbalah -- I like the symoblism of it, ignore the Madonna nonsense with red strings.

Just curious, is that blue thing over you're left shoulder that weird creature from the movie "Yellow Submarine"?

Ha, ha, yeah! The chief Blue Meanie. ^_^
The Nowhere Man is next to him. There's a whole line of these action figures -- including the Beatles, as themselves and Sgt. Peppers. There's the Submarine, the Flying Glove, the Vacuum Monster, the Apple Bonker.
The Nowhere Man comes with holes.
(In my Opposites vid, I hold up the Blue Meanie as "Evil" opposed to "Good," Superman.)
