In the beginning Palliative Care helped my father.
Toward the end though, when my father really needed them and the family needed them, before and after he passed. They couldn't be found.
I've just now lost my mother to cancer as well only six months after my dad. Admittedly, her end came very fast and we weren't ready for it.
Palliative care were informed she needed them urgently nearly two weeks before she died.
They never made contact with her or her family.
