On my way westward, I discovered this bus sitting on a small street. It disappeared for a while but ran into it yesterday (3-06). From all accounts, it is an Ex- Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Flxible Metro B #8720 owned by a private party. This bus was part of the first wave of Metros in 1986 and was retired in 2005. The bus appears to be in great shape

Interesting you mentioned that as a month after I made this video, the bus disappeared and I haven't seen it since.

  • Please don't go! DX

  • NOOOOOOOO! Save it! Please!

  • One thing I like better with WMATAs Flxs then the MTAs is the lighter window tint. WMATA always had the tint light enough to be see through from outside. And MTA. They always wanted dark tint but with the attacks that happened in late 2007 early 2008 on MTA buses they decided to lighten their tint on newer buses to be see through from outside. I wish MTA did that with the entire fleet.
