One of their masterpieces from Mirage. All the four original band members included in this performance. Taken from their Moonmadness tour in 1976-77. Sorry for the poor quality, it's really a shame.
This piece is based on segments of The Lord Of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. Nimrodel was an elvish maiden that dwelt by the river named after her, in the forests leading to Lothlorien. The white rider is of course Gandalv (Olorin).

I have to say: Where the smeg has the art in music gone? Compare the likes of Camel, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant, King Crimson, Gryphon, and the more accessible Pink Floyd with the generic crap that is the music of today!
I know music, like art, is subjective, but still...
I didn't grow up with these bands, I discovered them relatively recently, and they make modern music seem so uninspired (massive generalisation I know, but I'm referring more to popular music than anything else).

Stating that Doug Ferguson was not good enough is a new world record in ignorance. The magic Camel produced within their first 4 albums can - and will never be reproduced. Each member was of equal value to the whole.
