The Book of Mormon: The Testimony of Joseph Smith, Part 1 of 2. The Young Joseph Smith tells of his personal account of the beginning of the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, his visit from the Angel Moroni, who deposited in ancient times, the gold plates from which the prophet Joseph Smith, Jr. would be translating with the use of the Urim and Thummim, ancient stones attached to a breastplate used by seers in Moroni's time.

Wait until you hear his! Enjoy.

  • This is not testimony, It's a reading of the Joseph Smith story.

Nice pic of Moroni with the Golden plates, They look real as does the steel sword. ( steel swords ? ) and the Hebrew guy in desert outfit in NY winters day. Have your noticed the misfit of everything mentioned in the Book of Mormon to anything remotely similar in real world settings ?

  • @kramd1 Perhaps you missed my introduction, where I stated that I would be reading The Book of Mormon entirely, which included The Testimony of Joseph Smith as printed in the preface. I am happy to share MY testimony of Joseph Smith when the situation warrants. This was not that platform, I do hope you understand. Thank you for your keen observational eye!

  • I thought you were Courtney Love(a cleaner Courtney of course because your so beautiful)-the last comment was a mistake. Anyway, my inlaws are Mormans. I would like to go but my wife doesn't want to so I don't even ask. I'm a scary cat I guess or something. Thumbs up for you ( :

  • @uilium Thanks for that, it's nice to hear from you. I'm sure your heart will lead you to do what's right. You are God's son as much as I'm His daughter. He calls and we hear His beckoning...

  • the LDS claims to be another testament of Jesus Christ, but is a parasitic cult to the True Gospel that saves. IF LDS was a true additional tesament of Jesus Christ, then Christ would have establised it Himself with the same evidence, teachings and structure that He did 2000, years ago, but He didnt. truth is, LDS userps the Gospel completely and is absolutlely anti-christ, so it cannot be another testimony of Jesus Christ. BOM and the BIBLE are not comparable, only a fool would think they were

  • J. Smith was one of the worst deceivers of the 19 century.

  • @swordofscripture Cults don't have thier own football teams .

  • @BookofMormonReader Could you share your testimony? And not the standard cookie cutter testimony.

  • @swordofscripture Have you even read The Book of Mormon? Much less with an open mind? I dont think so.. If you had truly read it with the same open heart and mind as the Bible you would see that it does not replace the Bible. The Book of Mormon is what it is... a second Testimony to Jesus Christ.

  • You kind of got that Courtney Love look(a cleaner Courtney because your pr I thought you were her for a minute,

  • i think the mormons and christians need to read Acourse in miracles, also Seth speaks, the books of Dr.tuesday lobsang rampa, the tao te ching, any new age material because as the age of pisces we are in ends in 2050 and is replaced with the age of aquarius only spiritual truth will remain in whatever form.

  • @charger2538 I was born in the covenant. My ancestors on both lines of my parents are all in the church. However, that being said, there comes a time in one's life that one must choose for themself. I stayed after I did my own research, grew my own testimony and I continue to nurture that to this day. The more I learn of the scriptures and of Jesus Christ, the more I desire to be like Him. Thanks for the question.
